remodelers in the area. Founded in 1943, its primary services include
legislative and regulatory representation, promotion of business
standards, and support of home ownership. The BIA is the annual sponsor
of the Showcase of Remodeled Homes. |

The OHBA is a 8,700-plus member trade association
representing homebuilders, remodelers and their associate vendors in a
legislative and regulatory capacity on a statewide basis. OHBA serves
its membership by promoting proactive involvement on state issues and
legislation impacting the residential building industry: wetlands,
affordable housing, worker’s compensation, etc. |

trade association whose mission is to enhance the climate for housing
and the building industry. Chief among NAHB’s goals is providing and
expanding opportunities for all consumers to have safe, decent and
affordable housing. As “the voice of America’s housing industry,” NAHB
helps promote policies that will keep housing a national priority. |

NKBA – National Kitchen
and Bath Association |

The National Kitchen and Bath Association is a
growing non-profit trade association with more than 36,000 members which
has led the kitchen and bath industry for over 40 years by providing
resources for consumers and industry professionals. They raise the bar
for kitchen and bath professionals. NKBA promotes professionalism and
ethical business practices. In order to benefit consumers, NKBA
association monitors national and state legislation to protect the
industry, our members and consumers.

NKBA Kitchen and Bath Designer Certifications are
based on written examinations and extensive industry experience. NKBA
Certification lets consumers know that their designer’s professional
skills have been independently evaluated and tested and that they’re
committed to improving those skills through ongoing education and
professional development. |
